Today is the release of the SSS January 2026 Card Kit called The Small Things. Here is an image of the kit:

There are several Simon Says Stamp exclusive products in this kit including the following:
- 1 NEW and exclusive Simon Says Stamp The Small Things 6×8 inch clear stamp set
- 1 NEW and exclusive Simon Says Stamp Crystal Snowflake 4×4 inch stencil set
- 1 NEW and exclusive Simon Says Stamp Crystal Snowflake die set
- 1 NEW and exclusive Simon Says Stamp Snowy Tree die set
- 1 NEW and exclusive Simon Says Stamp Pixie Snowflake embossing folder
There is also a set of add on dies for the stamp set called The Small Things Die Set or if you prefer you can purchase The Small Things Stamp and Die Bundle together. Here are my 3 cards:

The kit includes 12 double sided La-La Land Crafts Winter Forest 6×6 inch patterned paper. I used one for my card above. I die-cut two of the Simon Says Stamp Snowy Tree die using 3 different colors of green cardstock and white glitter paper. I glued them together with the darkest paper used for the outside that holds all of the pieces together. I attached them over a piece of the patterned paper cut to be A2 size. It has snow drops on it but I added more to the paper and the trees using white acrylic paint and the end of a paintbrush.

I stamped the two deer and a sentiment using The Small Things stamp set in the kit and Versafine black ink. I colored the deer with Copic markers. I fussy cut them out as I didn’t have the matching dies, but they would have been very nice to have! I stamped one of the trees in the stamp set with Eucalyptus PSInk. I added that over the background and the deer in front of the trees. I attached the sentiment to the top of the card.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Pixie Snowflake embossing folder for the background with my card. I embossed it with the piece of Holographic Lava A2 cardstock panel in the kit. I die-cut the small snowflake in the Simon Says Stamp Crystal Snowflake die set from Aqua glitter paper and from white glitter paper. I glued the white letters over the blue snowflake and tied some silver and white twine to the top of it in a bow. I attached that to the top of the background.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Crystal Snowflake 4×4 inch stencil set for the bottom snowflake. I followed the colors on the packaging as I loved the way it looked! I used Surf and Ocean PSInk with the first stencil and then Night PSInk with the second applied with foam applicators. I die-cut it out with the matching die in the Simon Says Stamp Crystal Snowflake die set and attached it to the bottom of the card. I trimmed the pieces that were hanging over the edge. I used some Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Dazzling Gems in the center of the snowflake and around the background (come with the kit). I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set using Versafine Ink on a Honeybee Sentiment Banner Dies. I attached that over the top of the snowflake.

I used the piece of Tim Holtz Idea-ology Silver 8.5 x11 kraft metallic cardstock sheet for the back of my card. I cut a piece of the La-La Land Crafts Winter Forest 6×6 inch patterned paper sheets to use over the silver paper. I added some shading to the paper with colored pencils and a white Uniball to bring out the colors in it. I added some white dots with a white Uniball and some white acrylic paint drops with the end of my paintbrush for snow.

I embossed all of the snowflakes in The Small Things stamp set with Silver Embossing Powder and fussy cut them out. I attached them to the top left oath patterned paper. I did the same with one of the trees in the stamp set and attached it to the right side of the paper. I used some Rainbow Splash clear drops in the center of teh snowflakes. I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with Night PSInk and attached that to the bottom of the card. I tied a piece of silver and white twine around the top of the patterned paper.
I had so much fun making these cards with this gorgeous January 2026 card kit called The Small Things. I love this The Small Stuff stamp set so much that I’m using it for my SSS “One Stamp, Five Ways” guest blog post at the end of December. I’ll have 5 more cards using it on that post so check it out! Thanks so much for visiting today! Suzy
