Today is day 2 of the SSS blog hop celebrating the Beautiful Moments release. I have a card to share with you that uses the darling Special Friend stamp and die bundle as shown here:

Here is my card using this set:

I used the Basic Shapes Nested Eggs Dies to make my card base. I folded a piece of white cardstock and then die cut the egg shape by attaching the side of the egg just a little bit over the edge of the cardstock fold. That way that portion doesn’t get cut and you have a card! I applied Seafoam PSInk to the top and Sprout PSInk to the bottom. I used Tim Holtz foam applicators to get a soft even application of ink.

I stamped the images in the Special Friend stamp set with black ink and colored them all in with Copic Markers. I also stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with black ink and die-cut all the images out with the matching dies. I arranged them on the front of my egg shaped card adding the sentiment to the top. I used some of the new Peach Bellini Embellishment Mix around the scene.

I have also made and blogged two other cards using the Beautiful Moments release. Here are the cards and links to the blog posts.

This card uses the Crocus Field embossing folder, the Ribbon Loop Frames, and the CZ Easter Grid stamp and die bundle for the sentiment. You can see the blog post that has some tips for coloring embossing folders HERE.

I made this slimline card using the new Bunny Bonanza stamp and die bundle and the Easter EZ Strips for the sentiment. You can see the blog post with directions for this card HERE.

Oh my word, you showed me three entirely different cards for spring & Easter but each one unique in it’s own way – starting with those darling little bunnies picking Jonquils, that stamp was perfect to use with the new Nested Egg dies to make a shaped card, it was whimsical yet perfect for an Easter card or just a wonderful springtime friendship card as how you used it – next came the Crocus card, that one might have caused my heart to skip a beat, purple is my favorite color and Crocus’ always lets me know that our winter days are winding down, that card was pure elegance & beauty, lastly came your slimline card focusing on the chubby little bunnies, so cute. The one thing that was a common thread in all of your projects was your flawless coloring, WOW !! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity and wonderful cards, each one was different from the other two but each is equally fabulous . . however your Crocus card showcasing that wonderful new Crocus Field embossing folder had me at first glance.
