I made a few cards before I left for Create so I could still share one every day. Today was so fun. I had a table with Suzy’s Watercolor Cards and Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils and we painted all day. It’s tiring with constantly talking but I so enjoy all of the nice people! I’m thankful for my regulars that I’ve gotten to know (that I can give crap to the entire time!).
The card I’m sharing today uses the Impressionistic Flower Die and Stencil Set from the In My Heart release as shown here:
Here is my card:
I die-cut the large flower from white cardstock using the die that comes with the Impressionistic Flower set. I then placed the large flower inside my Misti and used the four stencils in the set to ink it. I used PSInk Trio 13 including Carnation, Peony, and Rose Ink. This is my favorite pink set and probably the set I use the most! I sprinkled water on it to make splotches.
I embossed the Halftone Dots Embossing Folder using white cardstock for the background. I attached the flower to the top/middle of the card letting it slightly hang over on the right side and then trimmed the extra off. I die-cut the “with love” sentiment that comes with the die set from white cardstock. I applied Orchid and Marine PSInk to the letters and glued them over the background. I attached that to the bottom of the card. I flicked white paint over it. Last, I added some light blue pearls to the center of the flower.
