This is the last set of Suzy’s Watercolor Cards and my all time favorite set that I’ll be highlighting today. I used this one called Under the Sea to color at Create. This post will link to all 12 of the card fronts colored to inspire you if you buy the set. It is only $9.99 and just got stocked again today yippee! It gives you 12 different card fronts (some with greetings some without) printed on Tim Holtz watercolor paper. You can color the images with any coloring medium. Here is the Under the Sea set:

When I was at Create many people chose the turtle and the big crab cards to color. They were the most popular ones for sure! My original blog post from 2020 shows all 12 colored HERE and one other colored HERE.

Here is the one I just colored.

Mr. crab for the win! I have one sentence of directions for you! I colored the card front with acrylic markers again haha. I am in love with how they make backgrounds look. And they are so opaque. if you aren’t familiar with these markers (like I wasn’t as I live under a rock), they are basically acrylic paint in a marker with a Copic type nib brush tip. They work great on rocks and shells which is what I bought them for but they also work well for cards! I work in small spaces so I am blending the colors as they are still wet.

For the background, I colored it all with one color of blue. Then I used a light blue and white to add lots of stripes to it. I used a white acrylic marker to add lots of white cots on the background and white lines on the sea critters. I stamped a sentiment using the CZ Good Greetings 1 stamp set with black ink and attached it to the bottom of the card.

I think this set of Under the Sea watercolor cards is so fun to color and it makes me so happy being a beach lover! Bring on summer! Thanks for visiting. You can see all of my watercolor card sets that are still available HERE in the SSS shop. Suzy
