I made a birthday card today using the Strike Up the Fun stamp and die bundle from the STAMPtember release as well as the Celebrate Wafer Die from the Sending Cheer Release. Here is the stamp bundle:

Here is my card:

I stamped all of the images in the Strike Up the Fun stamp set with black ink. I colored them in with Copic markers. I just used two shades of aqua, yellow, and pink and kept the shading pretty simple and soft. I die-cut all of the images out with the matching dies.

I made the background using the new Gentle Whirl Embossing Folder that was part of the November Card Kit. This EF is perfect for birthday cards as it looks like confetti bursts. I colored them with the same three colors I used in the cupcakes just outlining the raised portions in a very messy way! I die-cut the Celebrate Die from the Sending Cheer release from white cardstock. I colored the background the same three colors. I then glued two sets of letters over it so they had more depth. I attached all of the stamped images over the background. I should have added some festive confetti sequins but I forgot to!
I don’t think we can ever have enough birthday cards so this Strike Up the Fun stamp and die bundle is a really useful set to have! I hope you enjoyed my card! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
