The new products from Pretty Pink Posh were released yesterday and are now available for purchase at either Pretty Pink Posh or at Simon Says Stamp. There are links to all of the new products to both stores at the bottom of this post. I have 3 cards to share with you today using many of these new products. There are blog hop details below the cards.

CARD 1:

You're the Best

I started this card using the new Layered Leaves and Flowers stencil. This is a 3 part stencil and I used the leaves first with Distress Oxide Inks in 4 green colors and my Picket Fence brushes. Next, I used the 2nd stencil with the flowers. I colored some Texture Paste with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and then rubbed it over a set of 3 flowers on both the top and bottom corner of the card front. Next, I die-cut the new Nature Essentials Die and used just the frame over my card front. I cut around the edges of the frame so the fuschia card front showed around the frame. By the way, I love this frame size and will be using it all the time – I even used it on 2 of my cards today (and another I made for the PPP blog, so on 3 of 4 cards I made!). I painted a piece of Mixed Media paper with Falling Leaves Shimmer Powder and I die-cut the strip of leaves from the Stitched Leafy Borders Dies twice. I then attached them over the top and bottom of the card front to give it more dimension/texture.

You're the Best cu

I stamped my monkeys from the Monkey Friends stamp set on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink. I colored them in with colored pencils. I stamped the two flowers from the Jungle Friends stamp set and colored them the same way. I used them over the Texture Paste flowers. I added some Marigold jewels in the center of each flower. I used a sentiment from the new (everyone needs) Simple Sentiments stamp set embossed in white on one of the Simple Strips dies. I had to cut the sentiment in two pieces and left some space between the two portions so I could tuck it under the monkey paw. The strip dies work so perfectly with these sentiments and are also must haves!

CARD 2:

you make me

I made a slim line card that is 3.5" tall by 8.5" wide. I use one piece of white cardstock and cut a 3.5" wide piece off of it first for the card front. I then cut 1" off the remainder so I have a 7" wide strip to fold in half for a card front. I used a piece of Ranger Watercolor paper regular card size to create the green portion of the card. I first painted it with Shimmer Powders in Falling Leaves and Green Parade. I splattered both colors of paint over it as well as white gouache over it. I cut this piece in half and used it on the bottom of the card. I covered the seam between the two halves with the Giraffe. I also attached a strip of black paper die-cut with the Stitched Strips Die

you make me cu1

I stamped all of the animals from all 3 stamp sets on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and then colored them with colored pencils. I attached them over the green portion of the card covering the seams with the giraffe.

you make me cu2

I die-cut a leaf border from the Stitched Leafy Border Dies from white cardstock and placed that on the top of the card leaving a spot for the sentiment on the top right. I used a sentiment from the Simple Sayings: Brave Stamp Set embossed with Ranger Cracked Pistachio Embossing Glaze.

CARD 3:

thank you so much

I used the new Medium Polka Dots Stencil for the front of this card. I colored some Texture Paste with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink and some more with Abandoned Coral Distress Ink. I rubbed both over the stencil in different areas. I attached the frame from the Nature Essentials Die over this piece and cut it off around the edges. I used foam tape behind it and attached it to a teal card base.

thank you so much cu

I painted a piece of watercolor paper with Green Parade Shimmer Powder. I die-cut a leafy border from the Stitched Leafy Borders Die from this piece. I attached that over the top of the card. I then stamped the two animals and the plants on white cardstock with MFT Natural Ink and then colored them in with colored pencils. I attached all of these pieces over the front of the card. I then stamped a sentiment on black cardstock with white embossing ink using the new Simple Sentiments stamp set. I attached that to the top of the card and added some Caribbean Blue and Sparkling Clear Sequins over the Leafy Border.
