Let me start out by admitting the obvious – fall colors are not my favorite. I love fall weather though if that counts for anything! Today I’m sharing 3 cards using the SSS October 2025 card kit called Fall Vibes! Here is an image of the kit:
There are a few different SSS Products in the kit that are sold separately including the CZ A2 Grid Basics stamp set, the Pumpkin Patch stencil, and the Modern Loop Embossing Folder. There are also some add on products to the kit including the A2 Grid Basics Dies and A2 Grid Dies.
And here are my 3 cards:
I made my first card using the Pumpkin Patch 6×6″ stencil. The question is, are they pumpkins? haha I used a bunch of different Pawsitively Saturated Ink colors. Maybe some of every single Trio! I used Ranger Blending Foam to apply the inks over the stencils. I applied Versfine Ink over the top of the pumpkins.
I die-cut a frame with the A2 Frame Dies using black cardstock. I stamped a sentiment from the set on white cardstock with Versafine black ink. I die-cut another square from black cardstock and attached the white one over the black one. I glued the frame over the pumpkins and added the sentiment square with foam tape behind it to the bottom corner. Last, I added 3 sparkling clear sequins.
As much as this card is NOT fall colors, I must say I love it. The Grid Plate Wafer Die I had in my stash made it. I don’t know how old it is, but it is still available and SSS and is a perfect match for this A2 Grid Basics stamp set. I die-cut the grid using white cardstock. I then stamped most of the images in the Fall Vibes stamp set with different colors of PSInk. This time I tried to use a color combo instead of going rogue! But again, I won’t link the colors as between the two cards, I used probably all of them!
I have to say, Rhubarb PSInk is my all time favorite color of PSInk. Do you have a favorite color? I used it a lot on this card. I made little patterns with some of the smaller stamps on the white blocks. I inked the frame with several of the colors blended that I used on the blocks. I glued down the frame and then glued in all of the little squares. I felt like it needed something so I tied a twine bow around the bottom.
Again, fall vibes anyone? haha I should have at least used fall colors on this one! This is the Modern Loop EF that is in the kit. I colored it with Copics. I used five different sets of 3 colors to blend the designs making them appear to be flowers.
I stamped a sentiment on one of the squares from the grid die above with Orchid PSInk. I attached it to the front of the card with foam tape beneath it. I attached Rainbow Stash Gem Stickers in the center of each of the designs.
