I absolutely LOVE all of the cute critter dies in the SSS Always There release. I wanted to use them on several cards but ended up using all of them on one slimline card! Here it is:
I die-cut all of the animals using white cardstock and then colored all of them with Copic Markers. I used white and black Nuvo drops for the eyes. I put a white drop on first and let it dry and then a black drop on the bottom of the white one. I smeared some of the eyes before they were dry and had to remade two of my critters – roarrrrr! (So be careful of that black one!).
I stamped a sentiment using the Pawfect Together stamp and die set and black ink. I made the background by applying Sprout and Fairway ink to the bottom and Lemonade ink to the top. I really wish I had made that grass more green – I didn’t notice how yellow it looks until I photographed it! I glued all the animals on to the front of it with foam tape behind the heads for dimension. I attached the sentiment to the top with foam tape behind it.
That’s it! I spent all afternoon coloring these cute animal dies and I didn’t end up liking the background very much! Too bad I used actual glue haha. I will be sharing more cards using the Always There release this weekend. Thanks for visiting! Suzy
