The card I made today was a whole lot of coloring – even for me! I think this SSS STAMPtember released Boho Flowers Embossing Folder and Cutting Die might be more easily used with ink blending or other simpler methods! Hopefully you will appreciate the results of my coloring as it didn’t go easily. Here is an image of the embossing folder:

Here is my card:

I embossed the embossing folder using white cardstock. I die-cut the flowers two times each and then embossed them all at once (three hung over the edges). I then started my coloring using Copic Markers. I made enough mistakes that I was tempted to use a black background. Next, one of my dark green Copics bled all over a bunch of the flowers. I gave up. I never give up. After a couple days, I decided to see if I could revive it. I colored the background black to help. I then used a white Uniball over areas that had the wrong ink color on them and my mistakes. Once it dries, you can go over it with a shade darker of a Copic Marker and it will add color over the Uniball. I saved this. I think!

I use a fine tip black Micron to outline all of the images and then I use a black Copic and a fine tip black Sharpie to fill in the background. I really enjoy the black part! I stamped a sentiment using the CZ You 2 stamp and die set and Versafine black ink. I added them to the center with foam tape behind them. I resisted the urge to add any sequins as I thought it was busy enough haha.
I hope you enjoyed this card using the Boho Flowers EF and CDs which I think is a beautiful embossing folder. I just think you may prefer other color applications as this was a bit too much even for me! I did enjoy the process though! Thanks for visiting today! Suzy
