Today SSS released a die-set by Art Impressions called the Snow Globe Gift Card Holder. It is just the cutest set ever! It is sold alone or with a Gift Card Die as a bundle as shown here:

The pieces are really small – you can tell in my card that it is small as it was designed to go on the gift card holder. I went the card option:

I just ordered a 6×6″ paper pad by Brutus Monroe called Christmas Confections. I used that for the background. I die-cut a piece of SSS Aqua Glitter Paper with an A2 Postage Rectangle Die and attached it to the paper. I then made a shaker with the AI Snow Globe Gift Card Holder die set.

I die-cut six of the frames and glued 5 together. I then glued a piece of acetate inside the 6th frame and set it aside. I die-cut all of the pieces in the snow globe die with doubles of the hat and snow bank. I used Neenah white cardstock for all pieces except the snow bank and snowman – I used white glitter paper for those. I colored the background piece with blue Copics (and in real life it matched the blue glitter paper perfectly!). I then colored all of the other images and glued them together inside the frame. I added some 3mm sparkling clear sequins inside the frame and then glued the top one on with the acetate under it. I die-cut the base of the shaker with gold matte cardstock. I made the banner by coloring one red and glueing the letters from the second over the red one. I attached that to the outside of the gold piece and attached them to the bottom of the shaker window. I glued some of the snowflakes also die-cut with white glitter paper to the outside of the shaker window using a 3mm sequin in the center of each.

I hope you enjoyed my card using this darling Snow Globe Gift Card Holder die set by Art Impressions. It was so fun to work with! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
