I made two cards with the kit as shown here. The directions for both were basically the same so I’ll just go through the steps one time.

For the background of this card I used the Weaving Plate Wafer Die.

For the background of this card I used the Pinpoint Circle Background Plate Die.

I used the two plate dies listed above for the backgrounds of my two cards as they coordinated with the shapes of the die designs. I die-cut the multiple square and circle die from the Pop Art Pieces die set in the kit out of several pieces of the colored cardstock (all the pinks, oranges, and yellow). I also die-cut four of the single rectangle and circle dies in the same die set from white cardstock. I glued all of the individual layers over the white cardstock ones. I then stamped some of the images in the PoP Art 6×8″ stamp set over some of the areas to decorate them using black ink. I also added some of the Dazzling Gems to the center of some of them. I glued the four designs to the coordinating backgrounds. I die-cut the Reverse Big Bold Headlines XL EZ Sentiment Strips with the XL EZ Strips Rounded Die set. I glued one of them to the bottom of each card.
This Pop Art July Card Kit is very graphic and I kind of love that it pushed me out of my comfort zone! I’m not sure I did it justice but I’m looking forward to seeing what other designers like CZ and Laura Bassen created with it since they are more graphic designers. You can see all of the products in the kit and kit add-ons below in my product list (even though I didn’t use them all). Thanks so much for stopping by! Suzy
