I threw it back a bit for my card today. I used the SSS Hibiscus Blooms stamp and die bundle as shown here:

I love this set because I love Hibiscus Flowers, I love Hawaii and they remind me of being there and I have them in my backyard. I don’t know how old it is but I still love it! Here is my card:

I stamped the Hibiscus Blooms stamp on white cardstock with black ink. I colored the flowers with acrylic markers. I wasn’t crazy about how they blended on this one. I’m still learning to use them. I have colored these before with Copics and they blend better. But here they are anyway! After coloring with acrylic markers, I usually re-outline my images as I often go over the black lines with the opaque markers. I linked below to two sets that are by Altenew that I recently purchased. They are beautiful colors but the tips are nibs instead of brush tips so they aren’t as easy to color with.

I cut this piece down a little and attached it to a dark pink card base. I stamped a sentiment from the set with black ink. I attached that to the bottom of the card with foam tape behind it. I added some pink and yellow sequins around the background.
I hope you enjoyed this card using the throwback Hibiscus Blooms stamp and die bundle. Thanks for visiting and happy almost summer!!! Dreaming of Hawaii…. Suzy
