I finally got a chance to use the amazing Beach Bird’s Eye Wafer Die from the SSS Shine On release. I just saw that it is on preorder so I must not have been the only one that loved it! I did use it a little differently than it showed on the package though. I also used the Plane Awesome stamp and die bundle on my card as shown here:

I used the Beach Bird’s Eye wafer die for my background. I colored it like the sky with a green hilly ground so the helicopters could be flying in it. I used Copic markers to color it and left some more white and some more blue to look like clouds.
I stamped all of the images in the Plane Awesome stamp set (except the hills/trees) with black ink. I colored them all in with Copic Markers. I used a silver and white uniball for some details. I die-cut them out with the matching dies. I arranged them over the background. I also used several of the clouds over the background. I stamped a sentiment from the set with black ink and added that to the bottom. I used Chalk Stick Nuvo Drops around the sky as well.
This Plane Awesome stamp and die bundle is so cute! I love cutsie little critter stamp sets (second to flowers)! I’m working my way through the Shine On release and have two more cards made to share this week with some of my favorite dies from the release. Bring on summer! Suzy
