My Summer card today uses three new products in the SSS Shine On release. I used the Beach Bird’s Eye Plate Die, the Happy Seagull Die, and the Chill Vibes stamp and die bundle. Here is my card:

I die-cut the Beach Bird’s Eye Plate Die from white cardstock. I colored in each of the strips with Copic Markers to look like a sunset. I colored the bottom two to look like sand. I added lots of dots with Copics and a white Uniball gel pen to give it some texture. I glued all the pieces to a white card base.

I die-cut the Happy Seagull Die from white cardstock and also colored him/her with Copic markers. I glued him/her together and attached him/her to the top right side of the card with foam tape behind him/her. I stamped a sentiment using the Chill Vibes stamp set and Rhubarb PSInk (this color never fails me – it is my all time favorite). I attached the sentiment to the left side of the card. I added some Summer Sunset Embellishment Mix around the sentiment.
I love this colorful background for the boring colored him or her Seagull. Sunsets are my favorite and especially when they turn these bright colors! There are so many ways to use the Beach Bird’s Eye Plate Die from the Shine On release! I also used it for this card that you can see on this blog post here.

A totally different look using it as a sky for flying planes. A new release is coming soon! xoxo suzy
