I went back a few releases for my card today. My card today uses the Pinwheel Party background stamp from the Beautiful Moments release. Here is an image:

I absolutely loved this stamp when I saw it and then I never used it! I like these playful designs that look like flowers but are pinwheels. Here is my card:

I started by embossing the Pinwheel Party Background Stamp using white embossing powder on Tim Holtz watercolor paper. My intention was to watercolor it. I used karin Brushmarkers as I wanted the color to be really bright. But it still wasn’t bright enough for me! So then I decided to rub some PSInk over it and it just went bright bonkers haha! I used several colors that are in the supply list. I wanted the background to have yellows, oranges, and reds but the reds kind of took over! The yellows definitely disappeared.

I used the XL Darling Script Greetings Dies for the sentiment. These dies come in regular size and XL size and there are 3 greetings in each set: Happy Birthday, With Love, and Thank You. I love how big this one is! I die-cut it from white for the border and red for the letters. I attached it to the center with foam tape under it. I added some sparkling clear sequins around it.
I love this Pinwheel Party stamp set so much! I actually made another background too by stamping it with all different colors (some color scheme) and then rubbing the ink colors over it. It looks great too! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
