Somehow I missed coloring this embossing folder from the SSS Sending Cheer release until today. I am so glad I found it in my basket of products to use! It is called the Deluxe Bouquet Embossing Folder as shown here:
Flowers? To color? On an embossing folder? Yes I’m in! Here is my card:
I feel like I always color flowers the same colors (pink, coral, red, more pink) so I decided to color them purple today. Not sure I like it to be honest! I’ll be back to my usual color palette next time! I embossed the Deluxe Bouquet EF using white cardstock. I colored it with Copics. I used colored pencils also on the flowers but I don’t like how they look – the lines aren’t smooth enough for me! And to think – all I used was colored pencils for years!
I attached it to a white card base. I stamped a sentiment from a previous set called Delicate Blossoms using black ink and die-cut it out with the matching dies. I glued that to the bottom corner. I added some silver twine wrapped three times and then tied in a bow to the left hand side. I used some silver sequins around the card.
I wasn’t sure I wanted to make a non-holiday card today but I did enjoy it. Back to holiday tomorrow! Thanks for visiting! suzy
