Today is the SSS Sugar and Spice release. My favorite releases and products are always the ones for the holidays. This is just a really yummy release! I made a card using one of my favorite products, the Santa Faces Embossing Folder and Cutting Dies as shown here:
Here is my card:
I embossed the Santa Faces embossing folder using white cardstock. I die-cut the three Santa Faces that are included with the set and then embossed them. I colored the background with a black Copic doing my very best to not cover any of the snowflakes (which was hard!). I flicked white paint all over it. I used a white gel pen to go over the snowflakes. I flicked white paint over the background and used the end of my paintbrush to add some bigger white drops.
I attached the three Santa faces over the background. I used Frosted Lace Stickles over the snowflakes. I added some Crystal Dazzling Gems in the center of the snowflakes. I also used some of the new Mini Star Embellishment Mix around the background. I embossed a greeting from the CZ Inside Greetings Holiday stamp set and die-cut it out with the matching dies. I attached that to the center of the card with foam tape behind it.
I think the black background is very stark and maybe I should have used a dark blue. But I also like it so no apologies! haha I hope you enjoyed this card using the Santa Faces EF and CDs from the new Sugar and Spice release. We will be having a 2 day blog hop on Friday and Saturday so I will see you back on day 2. Suzy
