Today is day 2 of a two day blog hop celebrating the SSS Sugar and Spice release. I’m going to start by sharing my card and then I’ll list all of the blog hop details! I used the Christmas Candles Embossing Folder for my card today as shown here:
Here is my card with directions:
I embossed the Christmas Candles EF using white cardstock. I then colored it with Copic Markers. I love coloring EF’s with Copcis as if you stay on the top of the embossed image the ink sinks down the sides a bit to fill it in. And of course I just love coloring everything! I kept it very subtle with light colored candles which is so not my usual blast of color!
I used Glossy Accents over the candles and berries and applied Tim Holtz Rock Candy Clear Glitter. It is so cool (first time I had used it) as it leaves a beautiful layer of subtle sheen/glitter but it is translucent so it shows the color underneath. I might start using this on everything! It makes the berries look like they are glazed with sugar. I have it linked in the list below and he has both this fine one as well as a chunky one or they can be purchased together in his special edition smaller containers. I used the new EZ Strips Vintage Christmas sentiment strips with the new EZ Strips Rounded Dies. These make it so easy to add greetings to cards especially if you are doing multiples for the holidays. I attached those to the bottom of the card and then added a few white sequins from the new Christmas Cheer Embellishment Mix.
