The die I used today was from over a year ago called the Ocean Horizon Plate Die. I’ve always wanted to use it but never got a chance! Here is an image:

Here is my card:

The die is smaller than an A2 card so I backed it with a yellow card base. I die-cut the Ocean Horizon die twice, once from white cardstock and once from Tim Holtz watercolor paper. I glued the cardstock one down as a pattern of where the pieces go. I then colored the pieces on watercolor paper because it is thicker and holds up better with acrylic paint markers (my new latest obsession – you can get them on Amazon – I like the Guangna brand). I first tried using PSInks and I didn’t like how it turned out. Once colored I added another white frame over it as I got paint on it and I liked it standing out.

I die-cut the Hello Sunshine Wafer Die from white cardstock and attached it to the front of the card. I added some white sequins around the greeting.
This card was super fast to make. I love this Ocean Horizon die. If you have it or want to buy it, go to my link here to see all of the other cards made with it. There are so many good ones! Thanks for visiting! Suzy
