Today I made a card that is making me very excited to go to Hawaii this summer! It just screams of Hawaii goodness. I used the Keep Palm stamp and die bundle from the SSS Always There release as shown here:
I used the frame in this set for a card on a past blog post so today I used all of the other stamps in the set for my card.
I stamped all of the images in the Keep Palm stamp set with black ink and colored them in with Copic markers. I die-cut them out with the matching dies. I stamped the “miss you” using the CZ Inside Greetings 1 stamp set using Versafine Ink.
I made the background by painting a piece of watercolor paper with Nuvo Shimmer Powders in blues and greens. I die-cut one of the new Elongated Hexagon dies out of it and white cardstock. I die-cut another smaller one out of white cardstock. I attached the outside of my painted piece and the inside of the white hexagon to a white card base. I then attached the small hexagon to the bottom of the large one with foam tape behind it. I glued the sentiment over it. I attached all of the flowers and leaves over the large hexagon using foam tape behind some of the pieces. I added some sparkling clear sequins around the sentiment.
