Today I used one of the new stand-a-lone dies in the SSS Always There Release for my card. It is called the Luna Flower Die. I also used the Mythic Blooms Embossing Folder from the release. Here is an image of the die:

This die is rather large so it can be the main image on a card. Here is my card:

I die-cut the Luna Flower die using white cardstock and colored it with Copics. I glued it together attaching only the center of the flower so the petals could bend upward. I embossed the Mythic Blooms embossing folder. I applied Cheeky PSInk to it heavier in the center. I think my foam applicator had another color ink on it or something went wrong as the ink has a bit of a gray tint to it that is bugging me.

I die-cut an A2 Frame Die from black cardstock. I stamped a sentiment using the Long Stem Florals stamp set from a SSS Card Kit. I glued the frame over the inked embossing folder. I attached the flower and the sentiment over that. I added some sequins from the Summer Embellishment Mix.

Not sure I love my card today but I do love the Luna Flower Die from the Always There release! Can’t love ’em all, right? Thanks for visiting today. suzy
