Today is the second day of the two day blog hop celebrating the Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness release. I have a card to share with you using the Alstroemeria Blooms Embossing Folder. But before we get to that let me show you a couple other cards I’ve made with this release and I’ll link you to the blog posts where the directions and supplies for each card can be found. At the end of this post I’ll get to the blog hop details!

This card uses  the new SSS Every Happiness release. I used the Bee’s Knees stamp and die bundle as well as the Woven Rings Embossing Folder and the Stitched Arches dies. Here is the blog post.

This card uses the Squeeze You stamp and die bundle and the Petal Point Frame Dies. The blog post is here.

Here is the card I’m sharing today:

I embossed the Alstroemeria Blooms embossing folder using white cardstock. I colored it in with Copic Markers. I used colored pencils inside the grooves of the flowers. I used a white uniball over the flower centers since they got colored pink. I then used an orange Copic over the white Uniball.

I die-cut the word blessed using the Oak Leaf Wafer Dies with bright pink cardstock. I stamped the “you are” using a greeting in the Forest Forage stamp set. I die-cut it out with the matching die and then cut the bottom of it off so I could use just the “you are”. I attached the blessed word with foam tape underneath it andwith the “you are” right above it. I added some of the new Flamingo Embellishment Mix around the sentiment.

WOW !!! What a stunning card. You took the new Alstroemeria Blooms Embossing Folder and brought those flowers to life. They look real enough to pick. Your coloring skills are top tier, I always enjoy seeing your colorful handiwork and creations. Both of your other two cards were also wonderful, those adorable Bees and the beautiful Lemons that look so realistic but todays Flowers are stunning. Brilliant to use the white Uniball, colored with an orange copic marker to put a little added dimension and texture to your flower centers. Those were tiny areas but yet they added to the overall realism of the flowers. BEAUTIFUL job !!!
