There are 2 STAMPtember collaborations today. One is with La-La Land Stamps and I have blogged that one also. This post is for the Paper Artsy collab. Their stamp set is called Kate Crane and is sold alone or as a bundle with a stencil as shown here:
I only used the stamp set for my card. I had planned on making a really mixed media funky project with these products as they are kind of crazy in their style. I was so drawn to the fish though that I ended up using only them!
See, these are some crazy fish haha. I stamped the 3 fish all over a piece of white cardstock with black ink in my “random-stamping” method. This really gave some attention to these fish! I colored them in with my brightest Copic markers to make them pop even more!
I used a gray Copic to add shadows under each fish. I die-cut a banner with the Word Mix 2 Wafer Dies and stamped a sentiment from the set on it with black ink. It didn’t stand out very well from the card, so I outlined it with grey Copics as well. I attached it to the left side with foam tape. I used some bright pink and blue Nuvo Drops around the card background.
This Kate Crane stamp and stencil set by Paper Artsy is so much fun. I wish I was more of a mixed media girl so I could have done it justice. But these fish did deserve to be front and center and I do love this crazy card haha. You can see all of the STAMPtember collabs HERE.
